Unrelated note: Pelleas is one of the mythical Knights of the Round table. He was sold out by Gawain over a woman, and took both of their lives as revenge. He was believed to have been eventually married to the Lady of the Lake, and, not surprisingly, Svetlana has proven the only person capable of piloting this Knightmare so far.

Armor materials: Unknown, but relatively light. The emphasis on Pelleas’ protection isn’t armor, but rather shielding and maneuverability.

Equipment and design features: General blue and green colour scheme, silver-etched ivy patterns around neck and headpiece. It is roughly humanoid in shape, with thrusters behind the “hips” for additional speed. (Much like the original Pelleas, save for an adjustment for an energy-wing flight system for aerial maneuverability. Additionally, measures have been implemented to limit the effect of Gefjun Disturbers on the machine)
Both Pelleas and Pelleas Ressureccion are capable of folding to become more compact, though they are not able to truly change shape as can the TRISTAN.
Fixed armaments: ~ Right arm mounted shield unit, both shoulders are additionally armed with slash harkens. It’s left hand can be rotated to release flares for the disruption of heat-tracking missiles, whereas it’s right folds back to fire it’s own. (Pelleas Ressurection replaces it’s right hand’s missile functionality in exchange for a Hadron Cannon, and it’s shielding is more significantly advanced – It can create a defensive matrix covering either half , but not both, of the Pelleas when the commands are input, rather than simply over it’s right arm alone. It’s left hand is also upgraded, now producing full-blown Chaffsmoke rather than simply flares.)
Optional hand armaments: ~ Carries two MV-Swords for melee combat, frequently also carries an assault rifle for long-ranged combat where the Slash Harkens and missile fire (or Hadron Cannon) would be imprudent. May also bear additional weapons as requirements and supplies allowed, but this is the standard armnament.
Explanation:
Pelleas, unlike many of the higher end Knightmares, does not rely heavily on armoring. Instead, it uses it’s shielding systems and unbelievable maneuverability to avoid opponent’s attacks long enough to read or create openings in an opponent’s guard, at which point it uses it’s MV-Swords (or Hadron Cannon) to finish off a formidable enemy.
Pelleas’ Slash Harkens, Missiles and Rifle are largely diversionary methods, and while it will utilize them seriously on inferior opponents, all of these are simply tools to create and exploit gaps in an enemy’s defense or hold back lesser opponents.
Pelleas’ most frequent weapon setup is a left-handed sword with a right handed rifle, where the rifle is discarded in exchange for a second sword or use of it’s missiles (or Hadron Cannon) if the rifle’s firepower is insufficient, or the weapon is damaged beyond use.
Because of it’s maneuverability and variety of weapons types, the Pelleas is well suited to both dueling and Guerilla warfare, but it’s lack of strong armor can be something of a hindrance if it is bogged down amidst concentrated fire. As such, Pelleas is an ideal strike-unit, but restraint must be used when engaging in prolonged combat.
